How can this happen? These horrible things, how can anyone do this to a horse? We have no answers to your questions about abuse, neglect and abandonment. We keep focused toward our our goal to save those who are in need and not let the questions of 'why' slow us down in our efforts. We have so many beautiful horses available for adoption.

The South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit 501(c3) organization operating under the guidelines of Florida State Statues Chapter 828 which defines animal cruelty, abandonment and neglect. We are not part of or supported by an national or governmental agency. We are not associated with the A.S.P.C.A. or any other agency or charity. We are an independent non-profit organization.
